The Not India Post
I should write about India, and tell you all how wonderful it was. But I'm still too lazy to do so. So a short post about non-Indian things to tide people over.
Something I've been wanting to get into for a while has finally come about. I find myself as the new tech lead for a small team of four people at Google. I'm still discovering what this means, but my initial conclusion: not much. Well at least half an hour more of meetings a week. Oh, and I'm more liable in sexual harassment cases. Oh, and Google (the legal entity) is considered to know a piece of information when I know it. How's that for weird?
Slow change is fine by me. Gradual change is much better than rapid change. But it's nice to be moving in this direction. I've wanted to do something more people-based, and a little less just hacking code.
So there you go. Maybe I'll post a bit about India a bit later....
